Okay so to sum it up in a way that fits in a post, the play here for me is to start sketching with broad sweeping lines to try and get a feel for the gesture and overall flow of a pose. Anatomy also helps a lot here, as with anything it just comes down to studying.

Yeah nah the MOMENT I finally made an Amy design this #SonAmy art was inevitable

I shall name this piece "HOLY SHIT YOU ACTUALLY DID IT VBSDFKHJVBDKJHF"

Imma be SO real, trying to come up with an expression where they were looking at each other was more trouble than it was worth, this conveys more joy anyway, I think the vision is that Amy has turned super for the first time and they're both laughing like some full on one piece style hooting and hollering and even guffawing

Okay so here's the deal this is post Frontiers and these two are on a picnic date or something in the middle of the field of flowers and Amy is feeding Sonic some of that cake from the Sonic Channel art where she's baking so I think that's canon in my AU now and also this might actually be the first time I've ever legitimately drawn Amy ever so that's pretty neat
