Hi, did you mention the total weight limit for your notes? It is 30 GB. If it is the limit for your attachments, which is 200 MB max (per attachment), you can check if any of them are too large (to see all your attachments, click on: tools -> attachments).

Transcribing your thoughts is now smoother and more accurate, thanks to better silence detection, a custom glossary, and a more precise model.

To use voice typing, edit a note -> click on the three-dot menu -> and select voice typing.

Joplin 3.4 brings the rich text editor to mobile, letting you edit notes with full formatting, images, and even math equations. Writing and reviewing notes is now much more natural on the go!

To try it, open a note, tap the three-dot menu, and select Edit as Rich Text

Reminder : Joplin Server Business licence is only for companies who need a self-hosted solution with commercial support.

If you're an individual and simply want to self-host Joplin Server for personal use, you don’t need any licence.

If you sync to third-party services like Dropbox, OneDrive or Nextcloud, security depends on the provider but the transfer is still protected with TLS.

Hi! Without E2EE, your notes aren’t encrypted locally, but during sync they’re protected with TLS. If you use your own server, you stay fully in control, and with Joplin Cloud your data is stored securely on GDPR-compliant servers in France.

Hello, yes, it is possible:
Go to Tools -> Options -> Appearance -> select the dark theme and uncheck the a "Automatically switch theme to match system theme" button.

The web app was designed as a complement to the apps, for example when you need Joplin where installing isn’t possible.

Still, if you prefer to use it as your main way to access Joplin, that works. Notes are saved in the browser (and available offline) but won’t include local notes on your device.

Yes, the web app runs in your browser and will sync with your Joplin Cloud/sync data 🚀 It’s meant as a complement for cases where you can’t install the app (e.g. at work). Since it’s still in beta, we recommend sticking to the app for now, and using the web app as needed.
