It’s my second-to-last night sleeping in this house before moving to my new apartment. I kinda hated being a homeowner but this was our home for sixteen years. We were a family here. My daughter is heartbroken and so am I. Life sucks at you pretty fast.

For now it’s an hour commute on top of a day that is supposed to be 6am-2am, which would be cool but in practice it ends up being 6-3 or 4. Once I move I’ll be closer but the days are still long and unpredictable. I’m grateful to have work but I’m also applying elsewhere.

I walked out of Tron Ares. Not because it’s terrible, it seems fine. But my new job gets me up at 4AM and an additional hour of sleep seemed like a better proposition than a “fine” legasequel.
