Things are going to happen or people are going to happen. You are going to get screwed over, duped, blind sided. Nothing is worth losing yourself and your mental health.

Getting settled into the new digs really well now. It's such a rough start and so hard to get any kind of order when you have boxes of crap, but I spent all weekend working away and it feels really great so far!

I often reflect on the life lessons I have learned from my time doing SW. My career on the frontlines was definitely not pretty. It was HARD. I remember an agency owner once saying to me, "If you can survive this business for more than a year, you are a veteran". She was right.
