It comes after two men, aged 18 and 20, died of hypothermia near the former Ranch Roadhouse in south Edmonton.

Decades after Roy Allan Sobotiak was sentenced to life for the killing of an Edmonton woman, the 61-year-old is set to walk out of prison.

It comes after his conviction was quashed in February and a new trial was ordered.
