Marvel Comics' so-called synergy with the movies is a blight.

So is "Mouseman knows, mice have ears."

A story should not take 8 issues, 3 companion minis, 6 one-shots, and a Special to be told. And that story should not end in a set up for the next "event."

I have all four. The article does not mention issue #363, which features Cap vs. Black Knight in the cover. That's the actual Silver one. #369 featuring Crystal, Quicksilver, and Exodus has Platinum foil.

Not to go all historian on you, but from around 1998-2012, Carol went from her lowest point to rebuild herself into a confident, well-established powerhouse. That was undone, and now she is written in constant anguish, going in circles trying to prove herself to... the readers? Best I can explain. 😕

Back when Carol was Ms. Marvel, I wanted her to inherit the #CaptainMarvel mantle so bad. I had no idea that the character was going to change so much, and most of it not in a good way. Now I miss her as she was in her #MsMarvel days. Careful what you wish for.
