FUNDING FOR LIBRARY PROGRAMS
Membership and participation in the Friends and our events have helped us raise money and donate over $20,000 to the Library. Library programs we are funding in 2025 include Museum Passes, NJ Makers Day, Drag Queen Story Hour, and the Haunted Library.

Fortunately the weather was great and we got a warm welcome from the Hackensack Riverkeeper's crew as we joined about 30 people on July 20 for the annual Staib Park/Coles Brook clean up. There was less trash than last year, so we are making a difference!

New Jersey Makers Day is a great program that the Children's Department puts on each year, and is sponsored by the Friends of the library.

On Friday February 7 we presented Drag Queen Bingo with Harmonica Sunbeam. It was a pre-valentines day fun filled evening including recreational bingo with plenty of giveaways, prizes, photo ops, and entertainment throughout the evening. The event sold out and we raised over $1,000.
