Jim Irsay talked with me about death quite a bit. Others’ deaths, yes, but mainly his – the one he’d avoided, the one he knew was coming eventually. Wednesday was the day death came for the Colts owner, for this complicated, imperfect, beautiful soul.

I’m a bit late to this, but this is a really good read.
The CFP has changed its seeding and will now punish the top 4 teams in its final ranking with a bye into the QFs. Last year, it was the top 4 highest ranked conf champs with that burden. All 4 teams with a bye lost their first game with only ASU staying within 2 TDs…..

So glad to have been able to see Kevin DeBruyne live with Manchester City. A special player. Maybe we’ll get to see him in Chicago with the Fire next season.

Now this I like. Purdue is DONE with its noncon schedule and already publicly disclosing. There are 360+ D-I teams and the Boilermakers are the first to share who they're playing next season.

Houston has 12 offensive rebounds leading to 14 second chance points. They have had at least three possessions with three offensive rebounds that ended in a score. Purdue really misses Daniel Jacobsen in games like this.
