Last week Siân Berry MP quoted the work of Climate Emergency UK in parliament.

Created in partnership with mySociety, Council Climate Action Scorecards are an assessment of all UK councils on the actions they've taken towards net zero.
Our work was just quoted in the UK Parliament! 🥳
Here is Siân Berry’s full statement on why the Scorecards results demonstrate that a climate statutory duty is needed in England: “Every council scoring 20% or below in the Scorecards is in England or Northern Ireland" @sianberry.bsky.social

This week Wen delivered the #ToxicFreePeriodPetiton to the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), “urging the UK government to regulate toxic chemicals in period products.”
What a day! Today we took our call for #ToxicFreePeriods to Parliament.

Starting with our House of Lords event with @nataliegreenpeer.bsky.social, experts, campaigners & producers - we then went to DEFRA - with our call to make all period products safe. #ToxicTippingPoint #EnvironmenstrualWeek
