I have (mostly) always wanted to see my fellow humans as worthy of honouring as individuals. The bald truth, however, is that there are in charge now 1-D individuals who are ALL about power. They will do ANYTHING, however brutal, murderous even, to keep it. And there is no normal recourse.

NATO needs to give member Denmark all the support possible, given pressure on them from East and West—harassment over Greenland, and the nearby threat from Moscow, with Denmark a stone’s throw from the Baltics. (Canada has troops in Latvia.)
