mental state this morning... went to bed around 2:30, had to get up at 8:30 for pilates (normally 11, moved to 9:30). i don't think i slept a single second? just rolled around being nervous. about upcoming trip? getting up early? no idea. i'm kind of alive but i don't know for how long.

being a woman is more than just a hormone. sorry. "b-but cis women can just go out in jeans and no makeup and get gendered correctly" because they have a womans voice and a womans gait and a womans way of interacting with the world
you cannot just take estradiol and rot in your room alone gaming, boymoding whenever you do go out. you do have to actively, socially, create yourself as a woman
Therapy isn't a solution, it's a process. In a way the same goes for transition. You have to engage with it purposefully, and in many cases run toward, sit with, & work through the pain instead of dramatically inflicting it on yourself to justify isolation. 4/4

The Essay referred to trans people as demons. I would like you to imagine grading an essay in any other context with any other class of people called demons and how you would handle that paper. Would you grade a paper that called Black women demons? Native men? Or would you refer it to Title IX? 4/

i've started reading books during NFL commercial breaks. they are really long. there are a lot of them. i can actually make progress and kind of remember what's happening in both the game and the story.
