Agree, and thank you for reminding me how hot he is in this movie.

Did anybody else as a kid think the lyrics were “I’m blue, if I was green I would die” or was that just me? It made sense at the time.

There were so many guys with muscular arms walking around the city today. I thank them for their service.

BALLAD OF A SMALL PLAYER occasionally finds engaging moments within Farrell’s manic yet mournful performance. But you have to endure a sluggish pace, grating over-direction and another oppressive Bertelmann score. Swinton is captivating in the few quiet moments that are allowed.

ROOFMAN finds Derek Cianfrance with a lighter touch but still interested in tragic character studies, a tone that is engaging but also lacking a spark to become wholly riveting. It’s Tatum’s endearing performance that is a joy to watch, the only character given a real complexity.

IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU is an incredible showcase of Rose Byrne’s towering performance, a force that captures monumental rage, chaos and sadness. It’s a great anchor to an engaging commentary on the weight of parenthood. Occasionally tedious but thoroughly captivating.

I know most of my Jonathan Bailey content is just thirst posts, but I am genuinely invested in his success. He’s on the precipice of becoming a major star, which is incredible to be as an out gay man. I think that’s so vital, especially now, and means so much. I hope he does it.
