I believe AI will "never quite get there", and trapped in a "perpetual release"/"circular redesign" cycle by infantile shareholders, and will never be presented in a working or finished form. In some sense, it will be doomed to conform to the common human experience of never being quite good enough.

I bet sixty nine dollars that Elon paid to ensure that both the X and the Y chromosomes are from him. If this is actually true, I hope for the children's sake that there are no genetic/hereditary disease repercussions. This entire situation is terrifying to me, regardless of the validity of the bet.

I don't understand why radio is a popular medium for music. I only like music when I'm physically attracted to the musicians performing it. My understanding of most things in this world only goes skin deep; I much prefer and appreciate when the details of things are smoothed over, just like my brain

Today, I learned I much prefer to sit in front of my computer, and send instant messages or write text to post on social media, instead of being around real people and having to talk to them in real time! Man, KEXP just keeps putting out absolute banger performances by amazing artists. I've only watched a few videos, and every single one is just incredible. Maybe I'm biased because I love videos of live sessions.

The first time I watched a video of AURORA speaking, the crystals in my room started to fluoresce and I was able to see the shadows of each of our auras phase into our 3-dimensional reality; I saw visions of our guardian fairies dancing and drinking tea together. Oh and her music is pretty good too.
