The Battalion of Marines of the Imperial Guard (In French: Batallon de Marins de la Garde Impériale) was a French naval unit formed with the best sailors of the French Imperial Navy.

Their main priority is to be part of the main assault for the invasion of the British Isles, but when Napoleon called off the plan for the invasion, they focused more on ground combat.

Thanks to their experience as sailors, they were able to share roles such as line infantry, engineers and even artillery.

They fough in great battles from Austerlizt to Waterloo, until it was finally disbanded in 1815
