Unfortunately @elias-nogueira.bsky.social wasn't able to arrive in time by train, so we had to set up a last-minute Teams stream. Fortunately this worked out ok with the open mic in the room, so our participants learned a lot about the Datafaker library and how to test with more confidence using it😎

Tonight @jugnoord.bsky.social , I've earned a lot of neat facts and figures about #Java garbage collection from @hansolo.eu. Main takeaway: if you don't specify which GC to use, the JVM will pick one. Most likely it's not going to be the best for your workload!
