i think we would end up with better and more interesting games if developers had to be restricted by hardware limitations rather than just being told to go nuts with insane detail that ends up making the game take 10 years to make

imo the future of gaming is, or should be, ditching the power creep arms race and focus on affordability and accessibility first and foremost
