I am a classically educated, professional photographer from the Greater Philly area. I mostly work in 4x5 and medium format photography, but recently have been picking up my 35mm a lot. All work here is my own, unless otherwise specified. Julesvictor.com

Dude these Polaroids are looking so boss.
julesvictorphoto.bsky.social
I know the feeling. All my wife wants is to be naked on our 1.3 acres but despite the size, we are still in view of neighbors, so no chance of shooting nudes back there lol.

You did it! It worked out so well! I love these! Can wait to see more!

Also thank you for your praise ☺️

The lens I have on my Hb is a 50mm so it’s fairly wide, so she looks further away than she actually is, she’s probably only about 10ft, maybe 15ft. What lens do you have on your Hb? You probably don’t need to be as far from your camera as you may think unless you have a fairly narrow lens.

I’d love to see the expanse of your property, and maybe have your figure incorporated into a larger landscape style shoot. Almost like a Where’s Waldo but you are hidden in ways that blend with the landscape as opposed to other people.

Maybe I’ll have to get one now! Lol which size Instax film are you using?
julesvictorphoto.bsky.social
These are looking soooooo good!!
julesvictorphoto.bsky.social
Oh yea that’d have driven me nuts. I can’t wait to see you experimenting with the I
Intax and the filters!
julesvictorphoto.bsky.social
I’m so happy for you!!! My 501cm was the best purchase I ever made! And yea filters can be difficult to get off those older style lens, especially it’s been in there a long time. Some people never take them off.

I wanna say there was a Polaroid back for the Fuji that would fit for hasseblad but I can’t find it 😭. I’ll keep looking.
julesvictorphoto.bsky.social
Yea probably a bad pack. Which can certainly happen, and unfortunately not much you can do other than try and return it. And yea I know, the Fuji stuff will only help you if work with a camera that you can use with that stuff, but I highly recommend you do.

Unfortunately it’s a common theme of Polaroid SX-70/600 series film. Especially the new stuff, it’s not terrific. Polaroid film in general has never been super stable, even the low ISO packs. The Fuji brand FP film for larger format was always the best. Even the expired stuff holds up well.
julesvictorphoto.bsky.social
The original Polaroid backs will also give you the largest format available, and in my opinion the best quality of tone or color, but playing with expired film can be a crap shoot.
julesvictorphoto.bsky.social
Polaroid backs can be alittle tricky but once you get the hang of them, they can be a lot of fun, the only issue is getting the film which sadly isn’t made any more, but it’s still available in places, although expensive and expired. There may be one that uses instax or 600 series film, but idk.

I was just thinking the same thing when I was writing in your other post. I hate it.
