Hello everyone, I'm new here πŸ‘‹
A brief intro - I'm an illustrator based in Norfolk UK working in advertising, publishing & design. Influenced by art deco & mid century poster art I like to recreate that retro vibe in my own contemporary style.

I know it's still January but I'm already thinking about my 2027 calendar. It's been birds for the last few years, for a change though, I'm thinking maybe UK landmarks?

Yes, no, any thoughts?

In the meantime these new prints are now available from my shop (Pink Cromer too πŸ™‚)

This started as a simple tidy up of one of the first travel posters I illustrated back in 2015. However, it ended up as something quite different. It's interesting to see how my style, although much the same, has refined over the last 10 years.

Another shout out for @gailmyerscough.co.uk who very kindly sent some customers my way, so I'd like to send her some in return.

If you love the retro vintage vibe, do go and have a look at her website. If you get in quick you might be able to grab a bargain in her sale :)

Preference between blue and pink has been quite evenly split. I couldn't decide, so I've made both options available - take your pick :)

Thanks for the feedback, the buildings are (loosely) the colours that they are, I have upped the saturation somewhat! I could try changing the tones to make it more of a sunset, but I quite like the freshness of it as it is at the moment
January 14, 2026 at 11:32 AM
The blue does feel a little fresher
January 13, 2026 at 7:57 PM
The blue definitely has a more English seaside feel
January 13, 2026 at 7:56 PM
I've made a few more tweaks to this Cromer poster.
The question now is, traditional blue, or shocking pink?

I've been revisiting this print today & and thought I'd try a pink sky for a change. It's not exactly an accurate representation, far too colourful for Cromer; but I quite like it :)
