Bookish on HBO Max is really top notch. Very cleverly written, great production values, excellent performances, stylish direction and a score that zings.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds isn't for everyone, and I respect that. But it is such a welcome respite from difficult real-life stuff. A show to watch with a nice cup of cocoa and a bowl of cereal.

A lot of Avatar fans tell me I remind them of Tenzin. I appreciate it, as Tenzin is a wise and kind man who does his best for his community and his family. But the story of Prince Zuko never fails to move me on every rewatch.

Went to see LOTR: War of the Rohirrim, loved every second. Really interesting choice to focus on Helm's unnamed daughter from the appendices. Allowed them to tell a human story while keeping Helm a heroic figure who can fell a baddie with a single blow. Very clever!

I'm about two thirds through the first book of the Arthurian Chronicles, and will make my deadline at the end of January no matter what! I know it's common for authors to hate their own work. But honestly? I think it might be my personal best.
