“It’s important for researchers to genuinely connect with our South Asian community and other equity-deserving groups – to clearly communicate the purpose of research and the value of their contributions. This fosters inclusion, affirms their worth as citizens, and helps address health inequalities"

A simple urine test could help spot #dementia decades before symptoms appear, new research shows. The study found that protein in urine may act as an early warning sign.

At BRACE, we fund research into early diagnosis, because the sooner dementia is detected, the more chance there is to prevent it.

This image is a promotional graphic for a guest blog titled "MCI Core Outcomes Study: Interviewing the Experts" by Victoria Gabb, a Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol. It features a photo of an elderly woman laughing joyfully during a conversation with a researcher, who is visible from behind and partly out of focus. The text highlights the series' focus on tracking the progress of research in developing core outcomes for Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). The Dementia Researcher logo is also displayed, signifying the platform hosting the series. This setup conveys a personal, engaging approach to discussing scientific research and its impact.
