I started this month by creating new art for the upcoming FunDesign Christmas market.

5. Also the characters are not time limited as in "you'll never get them again". They will re-appear, you just might have to wait for quite a long while. But skip the FOMO and accept that you'll get them eventually.

You make it the game you want it to be! Just have fun!

4. The story is also interesting! But you can also ignore it a lot and focus on doing things in any other order. I really like the characters too, and even the standard NPCs can be pretty interesting. And maybe everything doesn't have to make perfect sense all the time, it's another world after all.

3. Genshin has so much cool places to explore! And yeah it can feel sucky that you can't customize your characters, but there's so many cool characters with fun personalities that you might just find something better than good customization options.

It is true that the gameplay can get easier depending on the characters and weapons you pull, but it's not a PVP game. It is you versus the game world, and you don't need all 5⭐ team with full constellations to win it. Maybe in the end game...? But that's just so damn far away if you start now.

Genshin isn't necessarily a gacha game any more than something like League. It's an open world adventure game with a story that has gacha mechanic for earning characters (which you don't need to get that many of until late game).

2. Unlike people will try to say, it's also not really pay to win.

I'm gonna argue for Genshin like I was convincing my past self to play it.

1. I think Genshin's reputation is ruined by the fandoms focus on the Gacha aspect. You can pretty much ignore that all you want and choose to only pull for characters you absolutely have to get.
