It’s really good. Seems so low stakes, as far as rpg standards go, but I’m sure that’ll ramp up.

The battle system is cool once you get the hang of it…sort of an action combat system until you decide it isn’t anymore and switch to turn based—per battle.

The magic system feels really novel, too.

Started Chapter 3 of Trails in the Sky FC. Still not really sure why it’s called that.

Also, was Cassius Bright ever in another game? Like, was he the hero of earlier games, or is this series not connected like that?

I’m loving the frequency with which the party changes. Keeps things fresh.
