Mediocre skateboarding | Incidental birdwatching.
I cut out of work early on Monday to pick up my car at the garage. I was able to skateboard in the driveway for 15 minutes before sunset. It was cold, but I did a couple noseslides, tailslides, and jump ramp ollies. I maybe startled a cardinal when I checked on the birdfeeder in the front yard.

Saturday was calm, grey, and dry. I skateboarded in the driveway. I did some frontside 50-50s, noseslides, boardslides, tailslides, ride-on grinds, and jump ramp ollies. It was good. It was 35˚ F so my board got cold after 90 minutes. I saw a sharp-shinned hawk in a tree and eight robins flew by.

Saturday was calm, grey, and dry. I skateboarded in the driveway. I did some frontside 50-50s, noseslides, boardslides, tailslides, ride-on grinds, and jump ramp ollies. It was good. It was 35˚ F so my board got cold after 90 minutes. I saw a sharp-shinned hawk in a tree and eight robins flew by.

I skateboarded at the park on Monday after work. The lake was a flat calm and it wasn't cold. I was out of gas and didn't have much so I cruised around for 35 minutes. I did some frontside sliders, fakie ollies, tailslides, maybe a noseslide, and a 43. I heard a Canadian goose in the distance.

I swung by the park to skateboard Friday after work. The lights are on. It was damp from the morning rain and the wind picked up so there wasn't much I could do. I did a fakie backside 180 ollie I was stoked on, frontside sliders, tailslides, and a 43. I saw a grey squirrel.

I skateboarded at the park for 15 minutes on Thursday’s lunch break. Weather was sunny. I was too rushed to have any fun. I did a few frontside sliders, boardslides, and fakie ollies before going back to work. I only saw a seagull. A great blue heron flew over my place when I got home for the day.

I skateboarded at the park for 15 minutes on Thursday’s lunch break. Weather was sunny. I was too rushed to have any fun. I did a few frontside sliders, boardslides, and fakie ollies before going back to work. I only saw a seagull. A great blue heron flew over my place when I got home for the day.
I met up with my friend at Food Court Skatepark on Wednesday afternoon. Skateboarding inside was definitely the right choice since it was sunny and nice outside. I did some boardslides, tailslides, noseslides, fakie ollies, and backside 50-50s. I saw a red-tailed hawk on the drive.

I met up with my friend at Food Court Skatepark on Wednesday afternoon. Skateboarding inside was definitely the right choice since it was sunny and nice outside. I did some boardslides, tailslides, noseslides, fakie ollies, and backside 50-50s. I saw a red-tailed hawk on the drive.
Due to a clerical error about the weather, I forgot to bring my board to work on Tuesday. I wound up skateboarding in the driveway for five minutes after work. I did a noseslide, a frontside boardslide, and a couple tailslides before it was dark. This somehow counts. I saw a junco in the morning.

Saturday was rainy. I went skateboarding at Jamestown Skateboard Products. They are decorating the park to look like a combo of the Great Northern and the Black Lodge. I skated like somebody who hadn't skated in a week. It was cool to see the regulars rip it up. I saw a red-tailed hawk on the drive.

It’s been rainy and very windy the last few days so I haven’t gotten to skateboard at all. There’s also the needlessly early sunsets to contend with as well. I haven’t seen much in the way of birds either. I think a couple days off are fine, but I'm also bored with being stuck inside.

Friday was Halloween. Somehow it didn't rain so I skateboarded in the driveway after work. The wind was too strong. I got a few boardslides, tailslides, and jump ramp ollies. My folks had 4 trick or treaters. They average 12 most years. I only saw a windblown turkey vulture and a few house finches.

I skateboarded in the driveway after work on Wednesday. It might have been one of the last warmer days. It was breezy or else I’d have hit the park. Nothing was clicking. I mostly tried to go fast to do a bunch of noseslides and ride-on grinds. I saw five or maybe six red-winged blackbirds.

I went skateboarding at the park after lunch on Sunday. I wasn’t into it and should’ve waited until later in the day. Whatever was clicking for Saturday wasn’t there for today. I saw the flock of robins again in my yard in the morning and a few juncos in the backyard this evening.
