IOS app is live as of a few hours ago. New users crashed it all trying to sign up at once. The awesome Tome team jumped right in and got to work fixing the issue. I’m loving how excited the book community is for this platform.

Not even 24 hours later and it’s already back up 😂
Just putting this here to see how it ages a year from now. This ban feels less about national security and more about controlling the media. They don’t seem worried about the Chinese apps we buy cheap products from.

It's hilarious because the reason cited for banning Tiktok was Chinese control and Tiktok users are flocking to an explicitly Chinese app.
