My Osamu Tezuka books came in. Yay.
Lots of good stuff here. Manga you can't find anywhere else. It's a shame I can't just read it, but give me a good while with a translator, and I'm sure I can find a bunch of great stuff from them.

My Osamu Tezuka books came in. Yay.

Remember that part in Dragon Ball Z during the Namek Saga, where Krillin and Gohan put on armor to help defend themselves?
Was this like, the only time the series ever cared about armor? I don't think there's ever a point after this where characters try wearing protective stuff

Can Pokemon make a super-eviolite item, that super boosts stats when it's the first form of a twice evolving guy?

As much as I want modern anime and manga discourse to be more aware of and appreciate Osamu Tezuka, I do worry...
I've seen internet people before. They misrepresent things all the time, or make big deals out of nothing.
There'd be people both saying he was woke, and a racist.

Is there anything you could market with Kirby that doesn't work? Seriously.
Clothes? Yes. Cookware? Yes. Furniture / Decorations? Yes. Weaponry? Surprisingly, yes. Somehow, even a plunger works. I'm almost sure you could make a Kirby-brand anything, and have it work.

Say what you want about Osamu Tezuka, Go Nagai, numerous other famous old manga authors...
Their stuff is more interesting and original than all the generic isekai slop these days. Or whatever the next trend is.

I've seen enough people be disappointed by Pokemon evolutions, that I feel like there should be a game where your little guys start out ugly, and then get cuter as they evolve.

Weird thought, but you know how Osamu Tezuka's Phoenix is written so it's parts are basically standalone? You know how it's sorta the same thing with Jojo's Bizzare Adventure.
If Phoenix got a full modern adaptation, do you think there would be part skippers?

Tech people trying to convince software developers to use AI to program will never stop being funny to me.
If there's one thing devs hate, it's code they didn't write themselves. Second is code they did write. An AI they'd have to code review? Get out.

That feeling of wanting to try Balatro, cause you hear it's really good, but also knowing people compare it to drugs, and you don't want to suddenly be completely unproductive for 2-3 weeks.

I think I've grown to compare Osamu Tezuka a lot with William Shakespeare.
Both are considered super important and foundational creators for their mediums... and yet people can only name a small handful of their works, if they've even seen them.
Or maybe I'm just dumb.

Testing with the Youtube shorts again. Current theory is that the algorithm has like a 8-10 hours delay, and them suddenly remembers it was supposed to show people the video.
