Aid cuts are closing virus detection labs that spot outbreaks early.

In Nigeria, Dr. Christian Happi's team uses rapid testing + genome sequencing to catch diseases like yellow fever and mpox fast.

Without funding, detection slows and more people die.

THIS is what Trump had to say about how drug pricing negotiations happened.

He is laughing at the UK and so many other countries who accepted huge price hikes. How utterly humiliating for Keir Starmer and Wes Streeting.

Julia is 72 and a retired NHS nurse. She fractured her arm in February and has been left waiting months for surgery.

This is what political neglect looks like. Patients are paying the price for years of deliberate #NHS underfunding.

People are collapsing in NHS hospitals while out of sight on corridors.

No one should be treated this way. This is political choice: too few staff, too few beds, broken social care.

Fund the #NHS. End corridor care now.

The cost of meds was too high for thousands of #CF patients.

We worked with Vertex Save Us & @3rdworldnetwork.bsky.social to approach a Bangladeshi company to make a generic version at a fraction of the price - it’s now on the way.

This will change lives.

The Lib Dems are right. We urgently need MPs to hold the government to account on why they signed off big pharma’s Trump-approved raid on the #NHS budget. We need the Health Select Committee to hold a hearing to grill ministers, patients & experts on this dangerous threat to our health!
Starmer’s Trump Tax is a disaster for our NHS and for patients. Billions of pounds will be plundered from hospitals and GPs to pay big American pharma, all to please the White House.

What on earth is Labour playing at?
