Also, respectfully, saying that the events of a FF game are separate from the real world which makes it immersive feels… wrong to me. FFX hit me because of the religious indoctrination and corruption that’s taken root in a lot of people and stuff. Idk😭

Making a little short about why politics in gaming (esp FF) shouldn't be seen as a bad thing and woke/DEI isn't constructive criticism and I know it's probably going to attract tons of bad faith gamer bros but... I hope to find open minded people who agree with me too yanno?

if someone asked me about it i would've been honest and corrected myself then too, i was mortified

hopefully the short, while a little blabbery, would clarify my stances that politics has its place in games/FF (and tbh, all kinds of media) bc we want to express what has impacted us!

I think some ppl don't like politics in games or movies because they're depicted as the bad guys and they don't like that. Even when ppl claim FF was never political... Tactics has a noble that calls the poor people lower than humans, unrecognized by god so... idk what these ppl are on about

They always want to be seen as a person with a difference of opinions rather than straight up bigoted and hateful. When people are anti-DEI aka Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, they don't wanna say they are pro-homogeny, inequality, and exclusivity because they know it sounds bad because it IS bad.

I've been around a long time and I've gotten into the spiral, but I've also been around others who can never talk about anything other than their numbers/content value and it's draining. Sometimes borderline ungrateful for their communities and the people who show up TBH!

yeah and i don't mind people being disappointed or confused by it, people also have the right to criticize! i just don't like it when people blame FF fans for decisions the corporation makes or resents us for liking the franchise. I want KH to get more stuff too!

I remember before mentioning Charizard is one of my fave pokemons and people telling me "I HATE HIM HE'S OVERRATED AND RUINING EVERYTHING" like I didn't decide that I'm just old and think he's a cool lizard so I feel the same here like I'm just an FF enjoyer trying to enjoy my games ; _ ;

I try not to say too many "controversial things" on the other site bc a lot of people like to argue or misconstrue me but with the announcement of Dissidia mobile, as a KH and FF fan, I feel disheartened with how much KH fans resent FF fans, like it's our personal faults for lack of content😔
