Hopefully Sony learned some things.

Short teams. Short development cycle. Lower budget. Still gets all the glowing reviews and GOTY.

You don't need massive budgets and ultra-realistic graphics to make something fun.

Astro Bot was made in about 3 years of full development with a team of 30 developers at the start growing to 65 by the end!

Timeline:
• 2021: 1 year of prototyping
• May 2021: Pitch to Sony
• 2022 - 2023: About 2 years of production
• 2024: 6-9 months of polishing & finalizing
• Sep 6 2024: Release

Can't speak for dating apps but whenever I want to start a conversation with someone in public I find something the person is doing, comment about that then we keep the conversation going.

I guess try finding something in the photos or in their bio.
