I know for me that lack of rest triggers my mania (BP1) and pushes me to be more impulsive. I also tend to forget entire days if I haven’t rested well over the course of a week
2. What comes to mind when you think about the deprivation of rest (physical, mental, emotional, social, etc.) and the link to mental illness and disorders, substance abuse and addiction, and physical and mental dis-ease, and other chronic health conditions?

When I first started my blog & podcast back in 2018, I was going nonstop. That, plus doing social media promo, going work, and school added up. Eventually, my body said enough is enough and forced me to rest. I was bedridden outside of work and school after.
