Getting some reading done at my favorite place, Starbucks. I am really enjoying this book. Where I am is still pre civil war, which this foundation of knowledge is great to understand the world of the people who would eventually be soldiers in the war.

just finished Destiny of the Republic last night. By far one of the best books I have. The way Candice Millard tells the life and times of President Garfield and Charles Guiteau is just amazing.

if you haven’t yet, read this book I highly recommend it.
