Critics make good Christians better and expose the hypocrites. It's probably why I become friends with atheists. It's the hypocrites (like Johnson) that Jesus most vehemently rebuked.
Wonder if he realizes that Burger King has been mostly foreign-owned for the past 35 years.
I guess that's the modern version of "let them eat cake."
Wait a minute!? I'm supposed to be getting paid?? 😉
I am, at heart, a pacifist, but I am already calculating in what ways I can undermine the regime if what you describe comes to fruition.
Because she's black, Ron.

Trump: "People are saying that some poor guy broke his glasses on the steps of the Portland Library because it was such a mess. And the eyeglass store was boarded up. And the guy was going to read "The Art of the Deal". I'm telling you, Portland needs the National Guard."
I didn't realize Communism had been around for thousands of years. Unless maybe he's taking about the early Christian church.

Meiselas: One question I have is why do we even have a funding issue? If Trump brought in $17 trillion, why is there even an issue with funding? If we brought in $17 trillion, shouldn’t Trump just be making it rain on everybody and there’s so much money to go—oh, wait a minute.
Or 1890s. Which is just as bad.

When you speak up for something, you take a risk...even when you're speaking about saving the environment, animal rights, human rights, civil rights, empathy, compassion or science. Somebody will always place their political or religious views ahead of everything you believe in & know to be true.
Anything to distract from his incoherent, rambling, nutty speech. Oh, and THE EPSTEIN FILES.
That reminds me of that one scene from "Airplane!"
From NRA v. Vullo, a 9-0 SCOTUS decision, May 30, 2024:

"Government officials cannot attempt to coerce private parties in order to punish or suppress views that the government disfavors."
It's estimated his policies will cost over 50,000 preventable deaths every year. Maas-murdering death cult.
When it comes to foreign policy, Trump is the master of penultimatums.
Probably so he can give it to Putin as a love offering.
Seriously, look where being more moderate and neoconservative has gotten us already. No thank you.
If stopped, he'd explain he was training, and they would let him go. He used his status and privilege to save the lives of hundreds of Jews.

He never spoke about this publicly. He told his family, "Good is something you do, not something you talk about."

Choose to be like Gino. 3/3
During the war, he would pick up forged id cards, visas, and other documents from the Catholic church in Florence, then hide the papers inside the tubes of his bicycle. He would then go on lengthy training rides up into the mountains to monasteries that were helping Jews escape the fascists. 2/3
My favorite cycling hero (and perhaps my favorite hero in general) is Gino Bartali. Twice a winner of the Tour de France and the Tour of Italy, Gino was a national celebrity, a hero even, during the time of Mussolini and the Second World War. He was also a devout Catholic. 1/3
So it would follow that anyone who wears glasses or uses a hearing aid at work is now a DEI hire? How utterly ridiculous.
It was the sly, scheming vocational instructors in his electrician classes!
The fact that it can't just admit it doesn't know leads it to routinely suggest wildly wrong answers. It'll be the death of someone, eventually.

Huh, sounds like a certain orange guy we all know.
