A screenshot of my fic. It's titled Spiritfarer and contains the following summary: What does death mean in a world that actively deprives us of our dignity? Is dying truly the abrupt, ruthless end for us all; or can life be found in places we’ve long left for dead? As a Spiritfarer, Viktor's duty is to ferry dying souls in the Spirit Realm through the Everdoor into the afterlife. While in search of passengers in a pandemic-ravaged Zaun, he stumbles upon an unconscious and injured stranger in a ravine. Juggling between taking care of his passengers and this stranger, Viktor’s efforts to help them kickstarts a series of events that unravels the truth of his own past, how he came to be a Spiritfarer, and uncovers painful memories that Viktor long buried deep. A Spiritfarer inspired AU.

As he shifts, a ripple cuts across his reflection of a past long gone—a young man in an academy uniform that he no longer recognizes.

In a small boat occupied thrice: Spiritfarer Viktor with a bloodied, battered Jayce draped across his lap, and a newly-turned spirit, Naph, at the helm. It weaves through the shadows of the slumbering barges, down the River Pilt. In its wake, the water parts with gentle displacement of arcane corruption. Overhead, the Piltover-Zaun Bridge looms. Snow has just begun, yet it is still spring.
