Oh yeah! That is Azusa Canyon to Glendora Mountain Road.
And I forgot and you are absolutely correct, they do call it Glendora Ridge Road between the saddle and Mt Baldy. So yes, you did drive the ridge road (it is now rarely open because of issues with the condition of the road and fires).
I occasionally get snubbed by American muscle car people because I have a vintage British car.
I just push it back to them that mine is maybe 1 of 10 in existence in the USA and theirs is maybe 1 of 50,000 at best. (and in almost all cases it is more fun to drive than theirs) 😜
Nothing wrong with an automatic. Some of the best super cars have faster automatic transmissions than a human could ever shift.
Time to start a furry classic car show to rid the Cheeto heads.
That might have been Glendora Mountain Road because the ridge route is a service road that was created to connect the Nike Missile launch pads that they had many many years ago.
I should have recommended you to go and seek out False Idol while you were down there.
Omg I love the Dinos fighting 😋
I have been meaning to go there the next time I am in SD. Was it good? Worth a visit?
Oh yeah! I reached the top of the hills behind my house. The first 35 minutes (1.12mi) had an elevation gain of 1,100ft. The next mile had another 500ft. It was then up and down the whole rest of the way. That section kicked my butt at the peak of the day.
Finally did it! COD trail, ridge route to GMR. It was what I would consider a very strenuous hike.
5.1 miles, 1,951 ft gain, just under 2 hours with water/photo breaks.
🎃 Happy Halloween 🎃
From this little pupper of mine.
AI can’t render Unicode? Ouch
Oh for sure. I would never want to clean a turkey for how cheap they are in the stores.
Sounds weird but we have a ton of peacocks around here and I have kinda wondered what they would be like. 😝
Welcome to our land too. It is flippin nuts here. Wouldn’t recommend.
Hahahahaha Sam does it again!!!
Love it! 🎃
Ugh. Well they are missing out.
Also maybe it is a good thing and the next opportunity will be even better.

I can’t say enough about these fuzzy little critters because they really do help us get through things or add a little bit more fun and whimsy to your life.
