I got so stoned at a Mets game once I compared the Jumbotron to the top screen of a Nintendo DS bc it had “a bunch of useful contextual information” and the field to the bottom screen bc “it’s where the game is actually played”

Part 2 of my f-zero theory is that *this* will be their crossover racing title this generation
It wouldn’t even be the first time f-zero did crossovers either: 16 years before they put f-zero tracks in MK8, they put N64 Rainbow Road in F-Zero X. Also they basically put the Arwing in it too, why not

(they get to coexist with airriders too because this game is far more about city trial than about racing. they even advertise it as a “vehicle action game” rather than a racing game)

I feel like a brand new f-zero is going to happen. With a full-fledged custom track editor and extensive machine editor (the series has had both of these multiple times!)…

with both kirby air riders’s My Machine and the playtest program’s deco stuff offering insane levels of customisation freedom, i feel like this will be the era where nintendo aims to beat modding by making players not have much of a reason to mod nintendo’s (new) games anymore
