It's funny to me games where the devs hand over development to another company but then they ask us to vote for them as the "labor of love" in the steam awards.

I'm considering treating programming more like a job this year. I'd actually schedule out hours of the week where I have to work on projects even if I don't feel like it.

It's funny how my Amazon package can be out for delivery for 10 hours and then suddenly at midnight it's "delayed due to an issue at the facility." It really annoys me when you can tell the tracking information is just making up automated excuses.

Back when I built my current computer 5 years ago I always intended to upgrade to 32gb of RAM. I have finally achieved my goal, hopefully it helps Oblivion run better =p

Just once I'd like to be able to work on my computer hardware without it being a miserable experience lol. Finally got an NVME drive in my computer.

YouTube tried to opt me in for automated mid roll ad placement again. I expect when that goes live a lot of inactive accounts will suddenly have a lot more ads.

Working on the Pyco Mundi website has me wondering why more game devs don't run their own wiki and/or guide sites. It's a great way to document your information for your own uses and if somebody is going to make a few dollars of ad revenue off a guide it might as well be you.

My older cat used to greet me at the door after work but he stopped when we got our second cat. I realized just now I could probably train both of them to meet me by keeping treats near the door and giving them out after work every day.

I got a co2 monitor last year because sometimes when recording long videos I'd start to feel pretty bad. I haven't recorded any long videos since getting it but something interesting has happened, the levels have gone way up as soon as it got warm outside.

Finally got around to learning how to hack my Wii U properly instead of just using the wii homebrew channel.

Had a weird drive home today. Every single light turned green as I came up to it. Even two that had just turned red 15 seconds earlier and had not let the other directions go yet.

My new hard drive setup is installed and I'm beginning the very long process of reorganizing my entire file system to eliminate duplicate or unnecessary files and simplify the backup process. But first, a full day of copying terabytes of files to the new drive.

Just ordered a 20tb external drive so I can start the long process of backing up and organizing all my files into one place. I still need to upgrade my internal hard drives as well though because I'm out of space and a backup isn't a backup if I have to delete the original lol.

I think that by far my biggest accomplishment last year was finally adding a custom mysql editor to my websites. It's a small thing but it makes website work so much convenient and I'll get so much done this year as a result.

Just watched sonic 3, another great movie. It's like the MCU but takes itself even less seriously. Looking forward to #4 already.

I've noticed that doing the same sorted search in both the ebay website and app that the website will show me stuff that's $3 but the app pretends that the cheapest listing is over $10. Seems manipulative.

Windows update is such garbage. It tries to get me with a 15 minute warning before forcing reboot while I'm afk. I tell it later because I am processing something with 4 hours left. It restarts anyway an hour later because Microsoft can't imagine home users would ever be doing important stuff.
