Holy heck, I just realized I missed my fursona's creation-anniversary(?) (birthday??) yesterday!

Next year, he will be as old as I was when I first made him, and also I'll have had a fursona for half my life. Not sure how to feel about that tidbit of information~! 🫠
The first every drawing of Kai the Lion, made in Photoshop with a mouse and no idea what I was doing. It is, to put it mildly, atrocious, between the line art colors, the general color choices, and the "add extra details to make it look more competent" factor making it look even more amateurish. Needless to say, it's also when I first began to take art more seriously. A more recent depiction of Kai the lion, sitting in a blue convertible wearing sunglasses. He looks like an entirely different character than the original Kai since his design has gone through MANY iterations over the years.

Finally answering a pressing question I've been grappling with:

What if Tibber was fluffier??
Two Tibbers, my wolf character from an old comic series I made, the left Tibber has big poofy fur while the Tibber on the right has the classic short fur. Short-furred Tibber is commenting in awe on his fluffier counterpart, with a speech bubble saying "You're... I'm... We? So fluffy!!!" and both characters are wagging their tails. (Funnily enough, in the comic's lore, this encounter could happen.)

The mane is coming along! Might add more to the sides / may attempt to color it for the two-toned mane look, but I'm pleasantly pleased with how it looks so far!

Update! Slowly chipping away at the rest of the face! All that's left is the cheek fluff~!

After that, it's on to figuring out how to do the ears, and most excitingly, the mane!

Refurbishing my old @palaeosinensis.com mask that I'd put together (and covered in fur) back in 2018 I think?

Here it is now versus my last refurbishment attempt in 2022. (GOODNESS it's nice to have an actual fur trimmer now.) xD

Might be messing around with a thing again...! Also REALLY pleasantly surprised by how decent this 3d printed mesh works.
