When the occasional goofy cosmetics are the ones that rake in the most monetary value, then that's all these companies ever make.

But in doing so, you devalue its worth and it ruins your games image and original core design in the process.

Early 2010's TF2 vs TF2 now. KF1 vs KF2. Payday 2 on release vs everything after they started adding tailor packs. DBD's gritty horror vibe vs whatever it is now.

Hell, that's just the games I play. I can't imagine what most PVP games are like now. I hear COD basically looks like Fortnite now.

Cosmetics in video games have gotten so tacky over the years. Why doesn't anyone make normal ass clothes or hairstyles anymore?

Everything is overly designed flashy garbage no one would ever actually wear IRL. The occasional wacky silly cosmetic is fun on occasion but it feels like the norm now.

Kai usually crashes parties, not castles. Guess he didn't get the memo. Equip with a surfboard and a deadly pool noodle. He's ready to have a good time.

That first beta (it was definitely an alpha) didn't impress me. I didn't care enough to finish a single game in second beta.

I love KF1. KF2 is enjoyable but has a lot of glaring problems. KF3 is KF2 again but with even more problems. Hard for me to care.

The reading of Mary's letter and Silent Hill 2 always gets me to tear up without fail. I cannot think of another game with such an emotionally moving ending.

I've been getting in the groove of playing games again and whenever I stare at my steam library, looking at the dozens of games I plan on visiting. I keep launching Yakuza 8 instead.

I don't know why but I'm HOOKED. Almost 100 hours in and I'm still not done with the story. There's so much to do.
