In Feudums, every asset is 100% hand-drawn.

Not because we hate #ai, but because we think real art carries the atmosphere.

We even made a custom set of props just for military companies. Maybe a bit overboard - but attention to detail tends to pay off. :)

And same! One thing I took from the old Amiga titles / the '90s is how much life games had just by showing little folks working - no matter how limited the animations were.

That vibe of a living world is what I want to capture, so the stretch goal is to have some animation for everything.

Yep, after 35 Steam demo updates, now I feel somewhat confident about the process!

But there was one time I almost released it as the main game instead of the demo. With an online game, players really don’t appreciate downtime, so there I was, uploading a demo at 5 AM, dead tired... ;)
