If I had to choose a favorite…I’ll say either “Homeseeking” by Karissa Chen or “Runs In The Family” by Sarah Spain and Deland McCullough. Both of those are amazing reads, imo. ☺️

Book 25 of 2025 was another really good one. Dusti Bowling is one of my favorite middle grade/YA authors. I think this is the 5th book that I’ve read of hers.

Book 24 of 2025 was my first audiobook experience. I feel a little strange as an adult reading middle grade novels but this book was awesome. Shout out to Libby for the audiobook.

Friend, for me there’s a ton of ingredients that made this a great story. I really appreciated the discussions around mental health and generational trauma in this book. Plus, this pulled at my heart strings at times too. Great story that doesn’t seem real, but it is!

I’m really trying to apply what happens in romance novels to real world situations. For example, people who vibe early on are more likely to over share about themselves. That’s a good sign, I think? Haha.

Book 20 of 2025 was awesome. I have so many thoughts and emotions after reading this. Out of everyone who interacted with Tyson, I think that I genuinely like 1 or 2 people. Everybody else…absolutely terrible.

Along with these thoughts, reading fiction increases empathy. Unfortunately we live in a society where empathy for others is severely lacking. I will fight the good fight for fiction books being read by dudes.

I went to a bookstore bar and bought this. A tech bro comes up to me and says that he doesn’t read fiction. I urge him to get some romance and fantasy. I think a lot of dudes would have better luck with the girlies if they read some fiction every now and then.
