Hey folks! I disappeared 6 months ago, because I’m terrible at focusing on work and paying attention to social media at the same time. 🙃 I’ve had some recent shows and just finished the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. It’s been a wild ride but some new work has come out of it!!!

Home sweet home! Wrapped up the show in Baltimore and stopped by the International Teabowl Show in Philly on the way home. It was like heaven. So many tea bowls in one place!!!

Meeble is an adult female rare Narwhal-Toad/Seal-Beaver mix up for adoption. She really loves kisses and will purse her fishy underbite for you day and night. However, she has no idea where her horn is most of the time and should always be supervised around small children and other animals. #selfie with my Phoenix friend Fil, the #kilngod. My hubs pinched him in a hurry 10 years ago for our first kiln, and he’s protected each load since. He’s guarding today’s cooling, and I like to go in and say thanks and give his little head a pat now and then.

Everyone is glazed and in the kiln! If all goes to plan, I’ll have 5 days to clean, sand, photograph and pack for Baltimore… the epitome of luxury! These vases have nothing to do with this but it feels like they’re celebrating with me.

After a few days of working on cups, bowls, and wares where I have to think “functional”, I have a day of vessel decoration. Which basically means an aggregate party!!!
