Production designer Judy Becker of The Brutalist movie:
"I didn't look at period architecture as much, partly because I already have a lot of that in my head, and partly because I didn't want to copy it."
Maybe she should have... as she completely missed the point of Bauhaus architects' ideals.

Rewatched Deconstructing Harry – that scene where Robin Williams stays out of focus blows me away. Perfect execution in 1997, no CGI tricks. Brilliant metaphor for disconnection, and Williams agreed though he’s never clearly seen through out the movie. Subtle, clever, pure Woody Allen. #movies
