Nintendo really sees Galaxy as their flawless magnum opus and I personally don't understand it at all. I honestly find the Galaxy games to be incredibly boring and the movement is a horrendous downgrade from Sunshine

The funny thing is the main thing that even prompted me to look into Resolve in the first place was the constant crashing I was experiencing on a project. I transferred the exact same project via xml to Resolve and it hasn't crashed once.

Learned DaVinci Resolve in like a week and am never looking back. As someone who has used Premiere for 6 years I am blown away by how much more stable and fluid this software is. It is sad that Premiere is still the industry standard despite it being the most unoptimized, garbage software ever.

I am aware of the singular benefit of them being able to be re-sold, but this is still so miniscule... They're all third-party games, and you'll likely find them cheap on a digital sale at some point. The amount of waste they're creating to pretend they have physical copies is insane

Game-Key Cards are absolutely unjustifiable to me. They're literally selling you a physical copy of nothing. I don't understand how wanting to pretend you own a game physically is worth the extra space it'll take up. They shouldn't even be manufactured, just pretend physical games taking up space?

100%. Twice as long as Sunshine while also just being a lot better to play. Definitely recommend checking this project out. It's gonna be very difficult for me to go back to vanilla Sunshine again, lol

After getting 120 Shines in Mario Sunshine again, I think I can confidently say it's my favorite one. The progression is very flawed, and the blue coins are unfair. But that's it. The amazing movement, music, level design, aesthetic, all of the good easily outweigh the bad to me. Sunshine is not bad

I am not going to be surprised in the slightest if there is a firmware update to the Switch 1 that also enforces this.

There is a strong likelihood that Kirby and the Forgotten Land speedrunning will be totally ruined if they patch hammer jumps and the 1.0 version becomes completely inaccessible

Nintendo is now *requiring* updates to play physical Switch 2 games. You can no longer play whatever is baked onto the cartridge if a patch is pending, regardless of whether or not you have an internet connection. This is an absolutely horrible precedent. Insanely anti-consumer, awful company
