This really isn't helping my 'you don't need a 3D printer' argument.

Well as you can see the internal "I absolutely do not need a 3D Printer" conversation is going well as I put the finishing touches on my Blade Runner Baseline Test Smart Speaker holder!

‘Launch’ - I have been chipping away at this shot for a few days for fun! Originally inspired by a recent Adam Savage video that included an aircraft carrier jet elevator. #b3d #blender #scifi #animation #vfx #spaceship #film

Turns out that wasn’t too much of an issue as I have to grind still but being able to just buy any S Class ship I wanted was nice. What’s been interesting is buying things that are maybe worth as much as a private jet in real money and it not even moving the needle.

At first I was just slightly shocked by the whole thing, ‘how did these items get here?’ ‘Who would do that without even speaking to me’? Then slightly disappointed that maybe the game wouldn’t be fun anymore.

I’ve been playing No Man’s Sky again and someone random gifted me 2,000,000,000 credits worth of items which I obviously sold. It’s been a really interesting window into how much money a billion actually is.
