I am so thankful that I have severely reduced my social media intake, shifted more into making content and spending more time in community offline. I’ve felt an expanded appreciation for my job and the people in my life to the point where I am not feeling what many are right now.

I realized recently that I can just trust my sense of patterning to just make everything larger and then fit it to my body directly. So I cut everything out really big and then figure out exactly where to put it on my body. Nothing fits better than clothes I’ve made :-)

I think that the most egregious part is that they successfully shifted the narrative, the coneversation stopped being about MP using her enby identity to dismiss the concerns of trans people who need medication into Kat is a horrible transmedicalist.

I reject it on the basis that I believe it is archaic, not every trans person needs surgery/hrt and dysphoria can be hard to recognize.

Yeah it’s odd to me because I am staunchly opposed to trans medicalism im just a very binary straight trans woman who is read as cis. A lot of people feel triggered when I describe my life and it’s honestly kinda odd.
There is a weird portion of people on the Internet who think "acknowledging that many trans people medically transition and that impacts one's needs" is the same as saying "everyone needs to and is bad and fake if they don't."

I actually loved doing those essays and regularly wrote more than I should. Brevity has always been my struggle with writing unless I’m forcing myself lol
It's honestly such a treasure that we can have professionals like you releasing video reports/essays on the regular. Doing a whole 5 page report in HS was so daunting and scary lol I can't imagine how much work goes into an entire career. TY for your work and TY English teachers for yours as well🙏🏽
