Well, this quilt is finally done. Now to wash it and hope nothing comes apart. I hate bias tape. I hated it 14 years ago when I made the last quilt and I hate it today. Not sure if I’ll attempt another of these anytime soon. In other news I got the tension adjusted. #quilting #biastapesucks

Used a heavy duty needle because I don’t have a walking foot and bought the loftiest batting. I will try switching to a medium weight. Thanks!

I quilted today and it was scary but I did it. Stitches are not great but it made the quilt sufficiently quilted. I think my machine is wonky about the tension. Tried some different settings and hope the bias tape goes on smoothly. #embroidery #quilting

Progress pics for today. You can see how wonky it went when I wasn’t pinning the fabric …. Cuz I was being lazy. I need to get better pins, too. Third quilt I’ve ever made. Last one was 14 years ago! This one I also did all the embroidery on. #embroidery #quilt
