so i’m trying to do a reinforcing grid sashiko on this sweatpants repair and my chalk pencil is rubbing off just from moving the ruler. they’re black so nothing else is showing up. @ sewing bsky help.

we have moved on to the most effective distraction technique for ruby (opening the screen door and letting her watch the birds) because she is not letting me even close to her tail to bandage it anymore

so Ruby has a crush injury to her tail (most likely culprit: a lamp that was knocked off the fireplace in the middle of the night three days ago) and we’re trying antibiotics but the vet may just have to amputate that section and i just
