Hello! 👋 I am an artist who hand paints bespoke wearable art (clothing, stationery, and sustainable & ethically hand made scarves).

My weekend: launched The Art of Wearing Stories.

✨ I hand paint stories on clothes and sustainably print my hand painted designs on silk. Dream come true. ✨

I collected the dress I designed today. It is surreal and exciting. My friend made it for me and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’ll post all about the process in due course. 🤗
Just finishing my hand painted pieces for the launch.

One down, four to go. ❤️
These are the nice things people say when they RSVP to my new wearable art launch event. 🥰

There is a bit more space if you’d like to join me.

I used to think that my creativity would hold me back in my communications career.

I now realise that my creativity wasn’t holding me back. I was holding me back. I was meant to make things BEAUTIFUL.

I used to think creativity would hold me back in my comms roles.

“Make this pretty” they’d say.

Now I realise making things completely and totally beautiful is what I was meant to do.
Sometimes stuff doesn’t work. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I love happy clients:

"It's perfect! I love all of the details and the beautiful uniqueness of my scarf. It's just perfect and the consultation process was so fun!"

Read all about the process and the fine details in this wonderful scarf that I made for a superwoman:

What’s inside? Unbox a scarf with me!

Drawing inspiration from nature, vintage aesthetics, my heritage, and my life as a multitasking working mom, I create wearable art that is visually and environmentally thoughtful.

It’s a scarf that’s a storytelling device. I hope you like it. 💕
My scarves have arrived! I haven’t ironed it, but here it is. And here is my crazy dining room table, covered in scarves.
Packed up 100 postcards I hand painted as gifts for the guests attending my launch. 😌🤗✨😅
🌼 Celebrate Spring with 10% off 🌸

Take 10% off of our wearable art until 10 April. Hop to it and enjoy this early bird incentive before these beauties are snapped up at our launch 🚀

I’ve designed fabric 🤗😭🥰☺️✨👀 my amazing friend and brilliant dressmaker is making a dress for my launch 🚀

LMK what you think!
What's the inspiration behind my work? I am so glad you asked.

Personal stories and wearable art are at the heart! ♥️

My academic path led me to a federal career, which led me to consulting, entrepreneurship and (back) to my artistic, sustainable journey.

I will always be grateful for my time and for the friendships I made at SDSU. Thank you for this feature, SDSU Alumni: www.sdsualumni.org/s/997/22/pag...
You are very welcome and despite the weather, I love it! 😘
I love it! California -- but I permanently emigrated to the UK! x
I’ve found it’s never too late to start doing what you love. ❤️

I am busy packing up my scarves for my April launch.

Every piece of wearable art is a story, wrapped up in a story book box made from sustainably sourced recycled materials, that’s compostable, biodegradable and recyclable.

Are you coming to my launch? 🚀
Ok…so I didn’t measure this correctly. I did come up with a work around…

This is why you test then perfect and *then* buy a 💩load of frames for the launch. 🚀

I’ve got this. 🤗 See more at kathykyle.com
