Yesterday I taught one of the kids my organization system for holiday cooking and baking. Their eyes got big as they realized my genius and then they made us corn dogs.

I've warned everyone that the TV is MINE in about fifteen minutes. I've been waiting for a year and a half for Ken Burns and I'm not missing it for any of their shenanigans.
Yesterday when I was out and about I ran into someone I really like and admire and then proceeded to spew out a word salad that not even the best wordsmith would be able to decipher. I feel like an idiot.

My Dad is able to leave the hospital now, but not strong enough to go back to his care home. He's going to a rehab place by Cedar Lake and we're going back to me driving my mom there every day. Who is the goddess of patience? I need to make her offerings.
