We are delighted to announce the 2025 Cheshire Novel Prize Shortlist! The standard was so high this year but many congratulations to our shortlisted writers and also to our super talented long-listed writers too. The winner will be announced on the 3rd November 2025 at 2pm!

I was suffering from burnout, being bullied in a toxic workplace and found myself at a crossroads in my career. I was missing the love I once had for what was supposed to be my dream job and didn’t know how to move forward. The stress was also beginning to impact my health and wellbeing.
