The unities are still wrapped around some people's throats like an ill-advised tourniquet.

Three a year (this being the second year). Two novels, one short story collection. But I'm going to have to move fast to get the Grovel collection out before Christmas.

I broke out the F/F plot into its own story. But the mixed one got me my only homophobic comment (on FFN, in Portugese 🤷‍♀️)

Deserved a 5-movie series at minimum

My D was like 11 when I finally got tested (went off milk to reduce congestion because asthma, living the life of an office-working cave dweller).
Got prescribed 60,000-unit weekly dose. It was kinda magical. But I'd been really fracked up. Do not recommend.

Mary wasn't wrong about everything.

I've met some little dogs who didn't have the dog smell.
OTOH, breeding clearly had made them not really dogs anymore.

Where loved = having holes licked through your skin and having a tail shoved in your face in unexpected moments.
I love my cats, but I understand why people trained on dogs don't get us.

Mostly I remember passing through the city wall and eating Yorkshire pudding. Best English food I had other than tea.

It's finally Thomcord grape season. I'm not sure what genius crossed the Concord and Thompson Seedless grapes, but the result is the epitome of grapiness with a tiny crunch of seed in the middle. 10/10

It's 20-fracking-25 and we still can't escape the old memes. Watching S2 of Andor and suddenly we're back in S6 of Buffy. 😡

A judge dismissed an Author's Guild suit against Meta for stealing novels for LitGen, including mine (the Regency vampire one).
Frack these thieves.

Still more enjoyable than Dumas' "The Massacres in the South."

Dealing with IKEA all morning has left me in a foul mood. Only when I have to be effective with a customer service person who is not paid enough to deal with the fallout of corporate bs does my generally pleasant mood fail.
It's hard to write romance when you want to mangle some c-suite exec.

But you do have feeling in your mitochondria. And in long viral syndrome, that feeling is weakness.

I covered the general plan update process for one county in California. It lasted for two years.
When policy is simple, it's probably bad policy.

Met with a new cat sitter. One doesn't realize how many caches of cat toys are in one's home until forced to walk a stranger through them one by one by one by one...

This is why I sew all of my curtains. The fabric store doesn't lie.

Funny, I went to a Presbyterian service once and they seemed warm by comparison. I think I was in the less fun synod of Lutherans, the seriously Calvinist ones.

Lexis Nexus was so exciting. Exploring an archive of newspapers by Boolean search was like magic.

I love my city. We have awesome tacos and the food trucks are still open late at night when everyone else is in bed.

As someone who got long viral syndrome way before Covid, our health system is in no way prepared to deal with even individuals with this. Millions? It's a tsunami.

OTOH people worshipped in them, daily, for generations.
The pyramids were a huge investment, too, and folks didn't even get to go inside those. 🤷‍♀️
